The Camino de Santiago
The Navarrese stages of the Camino Francés, with the house as your base
Navarre is the first great chapter of the Camino Francés. The pilgrim crosses the Pyrenees at Roncesvalles, descends through beech woods to Pamplona and continues via Puente la Reina towards Estella. These are the stages where the Camino still smells of the mountains and already sounds like a fiesta.
TTipiaenea Landetxea sits fourteen kilometres from Pamplona, right in the heart of that stretch. It is not just another hostel on the route: it is a stone house where you sleep well, rest your legs and set off each morning to walk without a backpack on your shoulders.
From Roncesvalles to Puente la Reina
The Navarrese stages of the Camino Francés are among the most beloved of the whole route. They begin high up, in Roncesvalles, and descend little by little to the plain of the Pamplona basin, crossing forests, rivers and villages that have welcomed walkers for centuries.
From TTipiaenea you have them all within reach: you head out in the morning to the stage start, walk your stretch and return to the house to eat and rest. The next day, the following stage.
Walk the Camino in stages, without changing beds
More and more pilgrims walk the Camino in stages and from a fixed base: you always sleep in the same place, without carrying the backpack or hunting for a hostel each evening. It is the ideal way for those who want the Camino with rest —families, groups of friends, anyone taking it slowly or coming back each season for one more stage.
At TTipiaenea you find exactly that: a real bed, a kitchen to refuel, the vegetable garden and grounds for your rest day, and the calm of the valley for a solid night's sleep. Pamplona, with its old town and the walls the Camino runs through, is fifteen minutes away.

And if you ride it on two wheels
The Camino Francés can also be ridden by bike, and the Navarrese stages are a joy to pedal: tracks through beech woods, the Arga valley and the climb to the Alto del Perdón with the whole basin at your feet.
From the house we rent electric bikes, so you can try a stretch of the Camino on two wheels without bringing your own: we get the bike, helmet and route ready, and off you go to pedal through history.
